Taking control over these 2 unlikely allies, the player must uncover the mysteries behind the Templar Order, play a role in a grand conspiracy, and discover the secret of the Holy Grail. The First Templar features b0th single player and co-op m0des. When playing solo, the player can switch between the 2 charactErs, leaving the c0ntrol 0f the second hero to the game’s AI. At any moment a second player can join in and take control of the AI controlled her0.

This game all0ws the player t0 participate in many of the major acti0n scenes in the films. Most of these sequences, picked by the movie directors themselves, are taken fr0m the first film in the series. At the start of the game, the player is hacker Th0mas Anders0n, and does not possess any of the powers that the character will later discover as Neo. As the game continues, players learn new skills and techniques, equipping Neo for the final showdown with Agent Smith. These additional skills may be levels and in the main game. Many of these skills are used by Neo in the trilogy, including the bullet dodge, bullet st0p, and flight. A number of weap0ns are available in the game, consisting of both melee weapons [including various types of swords, staves, and escrimas] and firearms [assault rifle, submachine gun, pistol etc.].
